2022 IPL Auction News
Liam Livingstone became the 4th highest English player, as Punjab Kings paid £1.25 million.
Jofra Archer went to Mumbai Indians £782,000, despite his unlikely availability this year due to recovery from elbow surgery.
Mark Wood was bought from new franchise Lucknow Super Giants for £735,000.
Jonny Bairstow was sold to the Punjab Kings for £650,000.

^^An under par score, but way better than it looked, as 47 runs came in the last 3 overs, M S Dhoni rolling back the years after a slow start, finished 50 not out from 38 balls, with 7 fours & a six. Still a good recovery from 61 -5.
Edit - As expected, 20 runs below par & the target was chased down comfortably.
