Guess the FBI missed a golden opportunity to capture Mr Blatter then...

RE: FIFA - Charlemagne - 09-09-2015 16:23

Prince Ali of Jordan is putting up for FIFA president again.

Opposition for Michel Plattini then.

New arrests are expected for coruption by the FBI. They have gathered new evidence also thanks to the cooperation with Swiss authorities.

From BBC news :

Quote:Fifa secretary general Jerome Valcke has been put on leave and released from his duties until further notice.
A Fifa statement said it had "been made aware of a series of allegations involving the secretary general".
Newspaper allegations on Thursday implicated Valcke, 54, in a scheme to sell World Cup tickets for above face value.
The Frenchman, who has held his role at Fifa since 2007, said he denied the "fabricated, outrageous" allegations.

Blatter is being questioned by the Swiss police, and (it gets better) Platini is now being mentioned

RE: FIFA - HannahsPet - 25-09-2015 16:34

Yeah was something about a payment to platini Wink

RE: FIFA - SOCATOA - 25-09-2015 19:06

Seems they all had their hand in the sweetie jarSad Must be the most corrupt sports organisation, and that's saying somethingSad If Blatter is charged it will be zimmer time before he enters a court. They have known that Blatter was dodgy 20 odd years ago, and just ignored all the signs. Going to take a few Swiss bank accounts to clear up this messSad

RE: FIFA - lovebabes56 - 25-09-2015 20:22

this could, in my opinion - finish both UEFA & FIFA at the same time!!

RE: FIFA - Charlemagne - 06-10-2015 17:19

Today the FIFA ethics committee have been investigating the payment made by Blatter to Platini.
They can't find any paper trail or any record of the payment.

Therefore they should be suspending both Blatter and Platini. That is if they are an open and honest organisation bladewave

RE: FIFA - Charlemagne - 06-10-2015 21:58

I've tried to keep this as short as I can.

South Korea's Chung Mong-joon has been charged by the Ethics Committee with violations from his 'support' for South Korea's 2022 World Cup. If found guilty he would be suspended from FIFA for 15 years.

Chung says that the committee is delibrately trying to sabotaged' his campaign for the FIFA Presidency.

He has denied any wrong doing.

He has said that England had agreed to trade votes in 2018 & 2022.

Could England 2018’s former bid leader Geoff Thompson, Prince William and Prime Minister David Cameron be drawn into the enquiries, as they were all part of the bid team.
