Yeah I agree with you there. Muse are by far the best live band I've seen too. Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire are both fantastic live bands too though.

I couldn't name a favourite band but yeah, Muse & Arcade Fire would be in a top 10. Saw Muse at V this year (was the reason I went) - awesome, awesome show

Muse always put on an awesome show. Can't wait to see them again, whenever that may be. Next year sometime hopefully providing they have a new album out.

You really think so...? I thought Only By The Night was a let down Sad

I think that KOL are maturing as songwriters,(is what I should of written), yes I agree that some of the tracks are a bit shakey, but I think overall it's a good album.

I think I agree with you both. Only By The Night certainly has its moments, the first four tracks in particular are as good as anything they've ever done but at the same time it does have its weaker moments too. The previous album, Because of the Times is still probably my overall favourite KOL album.

That's pretty much what i was thinking - i still think Aha Shake is their best.

For example, the song Be Somebody from Only By The Night - the first and last 30 seconds are really good, but they ruined what could have been epic with that flimsy chorus with saccharine lyrics

tempted to get this myself, is it similar to the appetite for destruction and use your illusion albums?

Haha yes Kalel I do love my music, and it isn't just metal/punk/rock that I listen to, one of my guilty pleasures is that I actually like Take That too lol. And I had heard the new G 'n' R album is really shit, but I will wait to listen to it fully myself before I pass judgement.

Late to the party on this thread but I would have to say my favourite band right now (it changes often) is Motorhead, although I've just disocvered Tool and when the CD I've ordered arrives, it might be them next week. Following on from mas0887's comment about Take That I have to shamefacedly hold my hand up to liking ABBA as my guilty secret.

Nah mate not as raw, this time around Axel has adopted to the music of today and without his voice over most of the tracks you wouldnt even know it was anything close to GNR's. Its Guns N Roses all modern, hard to describe lol Great tune on it called Prostitute
