I'm now 37, so the 80s were definitely "my" decade. Where to start? So many to choose from, but here goes ...

Tears for Fears: Shout, Everybody Wants to Rule the World
The Cure: Why Can't I Be You?
Crowded House: Don't Dream It's Over
Depeche Mode: Just Can't Get Enough
Duran Duran: Save a Prayer, Hungry Like the Wolf, Notorious
Simple Minds: Don't You Forget About Me
U2: I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Pride
Bon Jovi: Livin' on a Prayer
Tom Petty: Runnin' Down a Dream
Midnight Oil: Beds Are Burning

Absolute Radio play three hours of 80s classics on Friday nights, which is always worth a listen.
