Well thats it. Redemption over. I was so very excited about this special. Altho it did do a good job of setting up season 7, that dont stop me from feeling a bit deflated by redemption! It just seemed a little drawn out. I think they could have easily done the same job with a normal 1hr episode. It seems like they made a normal episode, padded it up with extra footage they had. Then created a hype storm for a "feature length" special Sad

I couldn't agree with you more limp, it was a great episode in itself but it did feel like they made it abit longer than they should have.

I did enjoy it though, definitely sets up the scene for Season 7. They did overdo the adverts for Day 7 starting in January though (Twice every ad-break? LOL).

Didn't know about Day 7 not going to have C.T.U, how will that be possible? 24 isn't 24 without the likes of Chloe etc. Big Grin

There was clearly far too many ads for such a short time. Thank god for live pause and catch-up recording.

The ads do confirm a Jan start for S7 for us in the UK too, roll on Jan.

Bloody hell - that's 14 episodes a day for a whole week! Did you get round to eating or sleeping?

So people, is it worth watching if I haven't seen Season 6 yet or would it a) spoil Season 6 when I do come to watch it, or b) wouldn't make sense without having watched S6?

No time for eating and sleeping - that was when i was at university and had a week off.

Did you hear the joke about Jack Bauer?

He swallowed a bottle of sleeping pills. He blinked.

Also re. 24:Redemption - did any feel it was a bit of a let down?

RE: 24: Redemption tonight - BristolRovers - 25-11-2008 12:29

Haha, I did try watching it 15mins late so I could fast forward the adverts, but I had to watch the last 3/4 of a hour normal time because of all the bloody adverts. Big Grin

Still not as bad as America though, they seem to have many ad breaks - If you watch Prison Break there are alot of moments where it is built in for a break but it isn't taken in the UK, but in America it is.

From what i know Chloe is back, so is Tony - it starts with a two-night four-hour premiere (this is from Wikipedia so might not be 100%...)

Thanks for the info Burty,

Did anyone see the 5min trailer what was on Sky Anytime TV back in February when they thought that the filming would be able to continue?

How dopey was Robert Carlisles character last night?!

He's just seen the kid stood right next to a landmine so he walks over and stands on it himself!!! It was like a Laurel & Hardy sketch!

Really good episode though. Enjoyed it.
