What a second innings collapse from South Africa 76/6 they need to get to 232 or more to make England bat again and as for England they only need 4 more wickets to win this match.

Will be watching it in the morning, today was great Broady should bowl like this all the time (in terms of going for the top of off and not spraying it around). Should be able to get the four wickets without batting again, they aren't going to survive and hopefully the weather and light will be fine all day long.

England won by an innings and 98 runs as South Africa were bowled out for 133 in they 2nd innings.

England lead 1-0 with 2 test matches to go.

3rd Test Day 2 Cape Town

South Africa 291 all out off 86.1 overs

England 241/7 off 82 overs

South Africa started on 279/6 however England took 4 quick wickets as they were bowled out for 291 however England lost early wickets but then Alastair Cook, Ian Bell, Matt Prior and Stuart Broad all scored useful runs as they end up being just 50 short off South Africa's 1st innings 11 wickets fall today and this could go either way i must say.

Test could still go either way, if we get some very useful runs with Prior, Swann and Anderson tomorrow then its very much game on. I'm a bit disappointed at Pietersen, Trott and Stratuss today if only one of them had gone and got bigger runs than they did and get our total in the end a bit nearer 400. But hope all goes good tomorrow, see off this new ball and we can still get a bit of a lead.

When it comes to bowling seems Kallis is the only real hard wicket we have to get in this series so far at this point.

England 273 all out giving S.Africa a lead of 18 on first innings. Prior top-scored with 76 and was last man out dragging on a Steyn bouncer. Useful last wicket partership between Prior and Onions after Swann and Anderson dismissed in first over by Morkel.

S.Africa 52-1 at lunch with Prince lbw to Swann.

I'd say the S.Africans are slightly ahead but not by very much although it is an absolute scorcher in Cape Town today - 35 in the shade and clear blue sky. Much the same here apart from it being 35F shocked rather than 35C. annoyed

Yeah looked bloody wonderful down there compared to over here.

SA's day by far. Hopefully we can get quick wickets and cause a major collapse then a win is still in the question if not then fight for the draw, not sure if the pitch will break up like they first thought, pray if it stays flat and we can see them off.

3rd Test Day 3 Cape Town

England 273 all out off 88 overs

South Africa 312/2 off 80 overs

Like South Africa in they 1st innings England lost 3 quick wickets as they were 18 runs behind however South Africa have been excellent with the bat as Graeme Smith is unbeaten on 162*.

3rd Test Day 4 Cape Town

South Africa 2nd innings 447/7dec off 111.2 overs

England 2nd innings 132/3 off 51 overs

Graeme Smith was dismissed for 183 as South Africa have set England 466 to win this match. England got off to a slow start but they did put on 101 runs for the 1st wicket but lost a few more wickets towards the end of play i think England should play for the draw as 466 is a hugh target to chase on the last day.
