Hi vostok 1 Unfortunately the information I have was given to me in confidence by the channels and I'm therefore unable to tell you what the complaints are or which channels they are about. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. I think STM sums it up here: (07-12-2009 11:40 )StanTheMan Wrote: If the visual evidence isn't there for these 'complainers', then the discussions are surely just as powerful. Someone says, "Did you see such and such a girl do such and such a thing?" - and by your own theory that's all that's needed. They don't need a clip to back it up. They have times and dates they can hand over to Ofcom, who in turn will ask the channel in question for the recordings covering that period. After all if someone wanted to make a complaint about this incident to ofcom they would have sufficient ammunition to do so without a visual record. Christ almighty, not only did Admin choose to miss this very point (made in my last post), but you missed it too, vostok. Come on, people! [edit] So sorry, Vostok, I'd posted the above before I saw your last post. As far as I'm aware, we have only been asked to remove one such discussion so far, which was a request we carried out for the channel concerned. It is of course possible that we will receive further requests of this kind. Insisting on the removal of clips and caps is fair enough, as they can get you on infrigment of copyright if they so choose. Where they stand, legally, in demanding we don't discuss their channels is another thing all together - re-arrange these words 'leg, stand, not, a, to, on' You should tell them to go fuck themselves. I can't believe you've started removing discussions at their request. Tell me, what legal right do they have to demand that their channel is not discussed? RE: Aceman's Farewell To Bangbabes - Sm© - 07-12-2009 14:31 If it was up to me, all discussion and debate threads would be canned. They bore me and the same points are repeated every 5 minutes. Its not up to me though, so carry on. RE: Aceman's Farewell To Bangbabes - DanVox - 07-12-2009 23:59 Post the clips but hide information about time or day. Don't narrow it down to less than a week. And if the broadcaster has more than one channel, don't say which. But aren't Ofcome being less heavy handed than 2 years ago ? Back then channels that flashed would have had a phone call the next morning and been shut down immediately if they repeated it. RE: Aceman's Farewell To Bangbabes - TheDarkKnight - 08-12-2009 00:20 I stopped posting screencaps of Amanda because I just got the overwhelming feeling, as I was about to press the 'send' button, that I was just doing some twats job for them. Guess I was right. |
