Its to protect the links from deletion, and I am transferring my stuff from elsewhere so to search through pages of uploaded stuff to get the direct link would take forever, the caps was linked in this way because of the issues this forum was having with all the pics linking to wwwwweatthissarnnie.com etc etc, I have been informed that some image host's now are fine so no worries on the cap front, but the video links will stay the as they are, hope this helps you a little.
