Chilly I can assure you if I were to bite both yourself and the forum would know and it, you can make points without losing your temper, that way you know the point you are making!

For me, black & white represents the past. Sure, some people may still like it, however, I know I'd just end up pining for the channel to be in colour.
Black & white is obviously an option, so maybe one of the channels could do a test to see if their viewers like it or not.

They should do it on Channel 906,the colour on that channel is always oversaturated to the point they should issue a health warning "Beware this channel contains cataract inducing levels of red"

Gentlemen, please calm down… this thread is about the appreciation and speculation of watching the ladies of these channels in black and white. Could I ask just one thing of those of you who still fail to see the point:
Kindly turn the colour down upon your television set when watching and leave it like that for just ten minutes and watch whatever you wish. If by then if you still have no concept of the idea we are attempting to invoke carry on watching colour and kindly cease being an irritant upon this thread. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. We are not advocating retrograde technology at the expense of modern audio-visual delights, merely remarking that there is something quite exquisite and enticing about the medium as a whole. I hope this is clear to you all. Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen.

Dont really see the point or appeal, but hey different people like different things.
I can't honestly see anyone getting a kick out of it, every girl would look so similar.
Think i'll stick to colour Television for now, if that's alright?

Doesn't have any appeal for me personally, but, if a channel did try it, it would have to be a theme section for an hour or two, I'd suggest Kitty Lea, hair, makeup and lingerie in 1930/40's style, cigarette holder for some mouth action that she's so good at, get the old dry ice machine up and running and some interesting camera shots to try and create a smokey film noir look.
