I think the very fact that not all channels use the same guidelines, is indicative of the state of confusion regulators leave both industry and viewer in. In my view, Ofcom are squarely to blame for inconsistencies rather than the channels themselves.
Some channels may be more prepared to risk a slip and the usual nonsense that follows, where others would rather err on the side of caution. If 40+ chooses the latter, I can't really blame them for wanting to protect their interests. Sadly then, even when they are so utterly and totally vague, Ofcom win by default.
I'm not talking about showing genitalia or masturbation, just plain old fashioned nudity
And even if there was a slip, would a vagina spell the end of humanity as we know it? Hardly!

To answer your question the rules have changed on 40 as its on a different licence since the change over so the rules and regulations have changed for the sky channel the shows have to much cleaner or the company get into trouble and as for freeview the reason why there is no nudity and the girls are fully clothed is because it is on freeview now and underage youngsters could be watching and some people can get ofended the other channels the licence is diferent so the girls can wear less and be more provogative I hope this answers your questions

I think it's gone altogether. Maybe another company will see a gap in the market and bring it back.
