His missus won't go abroad as her young sister is very ill. At the moment it all points to City. However this gives me and many city fans a real problem. After all we have chanted at him over the years It will be odd to support him. At least its not that twat Gary Neville. RE: Wayne Rooney - Leaving Man Utd - cosmonaut - 20-10-2010 20:47 I was just listening to Talk Sport and they were reporting that Rooney will join Man City in January and Man Utd will use the money to try and get Torres as a replacement. Roy Hodgson was asked about this at a press conference today and said "we'll cross that bridge when we get to it". RE: Wayne Rooney - Leaving Man Utd - belfrylover - 20-10-2010 20:52 Torres looked so disinterested on Sunday in the Mersyside derby. Wouldn't be surprised to see him leave. However, his fitness is always going to be an issue. RE: Wayne Rooney - Leaving Man Utd - groundnpound - 20-10-2010 21:09 No chance Torres will join united. He said there's 2 clubs he'd never join.. Real Madrid and United.More chance of Rooney coming to Anfield.Liverpool will only improve under the new owners in my eyes. With United possibly going on the decline.Roy Hodgson's little statements are starting to wear thin with Liverpool fans.He should have answered that question tonight with a straight NO! and told the press there's not a chance we would sell our star centre forward who the fans adore and idolise to our greatest rivals! Grow a pair Roy and stop tickling Fergies balls with a f***ing feather! Frank Rijkaard anyone? The story isn't that Torres will join Man Utd, but that Man Utd will TRY to sign him. Are QPR monitoring the Torres situation? RE: Wayne Rooney - Leaving Man Utd - groundnpound - 20-10-2010 21:37 United couldn't afford the lad anyway. RE: Wayne Rooney - Leaving Man Utd - hitmeuptop - 20-10-2010 22:08 how is a team 19th in league not in decline and a team in 4th is ? and dont give me that crap that rooney possibly leaving being the reason. is there some transfer window that specially opens for liverpool ? coz your gonna have to stick with same team thats slummin it at the bottom of the league for the next 10 weeks RE: Wayne Rooney - Leaving Man Utd - mitchell - 21-10-2010 01:18 Wayne Rooney is leaving Utd because his agent... Sorry representatives have told him to!!! that is plain & simple. Rooney said he will stay at Utd for life. The reasons being, he can live in Cheshire which is close to Liverpool & his family & mates as well as his wife's family & the sister in law situation. Allegedly at 24 he already earns £100,000+ club wage a week so his next contract will be £130k/£150k. This along with the living location is the perfect club for him. Now in a statement he says the reason he wants to leave is all about winning trophies.... Errr would that he the 9 trophies he's won at Utd as well as the 19 individual awards he's won. If Rooney himself is wondering about what is gonna happen when Ferguson, Giggs & Scholes retire then all he needs to do is get a clause in his new contract saying he can leave if he feels the manager & players can't take him any further then he can leave for a certain price. I don't see him goin to Spain, not just because of the personal & family reasons but lets be honest he doesn't strike you as the type who will pick up a foreign language, so he'll end up at City or Chelsea. From a footballing point of view & i don't just mean a Man Utd one, this will tell us in which direction Utd are heading??? If he goes to City then it will be purley a money situation for Utd & money & personal for Rooney (& his representatives), but if he goes to Chelsea i think this will be Utd telling us that they can no longer compete with Chelsea anymore albeit Chelsea don't have the money they once did, but if they can buy Rooney then it puts Utd in the shade & Utd would rather Chelsea stand alone than be neck & neck with a City side containing Wayne Rooney. Like i said Rooney is leaving because his representatives think it's the best for him & them & now for a little rant at you kunts!!! so much for the shit squad hey, if...WHEN Rooney leaves how many star players have you got then.... Life's a bitch some times hey lads!!! & on what groundnpound was sayin about Roy Hodson... Roy can go fuck himself, the only/main reason we're in the league position we're in is cause Roy's formation's & tactics are exactly what Fergie dreamed of the night before the season kicked off!!! RE: Wayne Rooney - Leaving Man Utd - StridentOnanist - 21-10-2010 08:41 Just take the money and let him go! He's a busted flush anyway. Every player has a peak and I feel Rooney has passed his. He's far too busy with adverts and prozzies to concentrate on football. RE: Wayne Rooney - Leaving Man Utd - Charlemagne - 21-10-2010 08:45 Its rumoured that Spurs are interested. No chance If he goes it will be to Italy. Collette wants a new start in their life. And also Wayne's heard that the prossies in Italy are something special |
