RE: Where next? - gazfc - 21-12-2010 12:14 @mrmann That stripper's talking out her ass Brothels are legal because the girls don't sell sex they sell their companionship (what goes on between two consulting adults is nobody's else's business). As for what you said about the stripper bar, yeah right, if you've ever worked in any kind of licensed premise you'd know that the police often come in to speak to the manger/landlord (they'll ask hows business, have you had any trouble/under-age drinkers trying to get in, or even pick up lost items/drugs that have been found/confiscated and on some occasions CCTV tapes) Think about it, why would the owner be giving money too 2 uniformed coppers? What exactly would they exactly be able to do about anything?? The council grant licences to strip clubs, the police can object to the licence been granted but that has to come from the chief inspector (and considering the strip bar you was in already open for anyone to walk into would suggest it already had a licence so wouldn't need to bribe anyone) RE: Where next? - mrmann - 21-12-2010 12:41 (21-12-2010 12:14 )gazfc Wrote: @mrmann That stripper's talking out her ass I didn't mean to imply that he was actually paying the two officers that walked in, but that they were making sure that nobody was giving lap dances. The manager seemed to assure them of this, and was apprently told by them that they couldn't give lap dances until they aquired a lap dancing licence. As soon as the police left, the lap dancing resumed But only places with licences can legally do this, which shows that all it takes is a bit of money. I'm sure what you say it true, and that they were probably asking about the other issues as well, but that wasn't the only discussion. RIP Babe channels?!? - Grand Theft Ant - 21-12-2010 18:37 I heard that the Government plans to block ALL porn. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3308449/Porn-block-on-PCs.html As a result this could dealt a massive blow on all babe channels as they would be considered "soft-core". So like me are you all against the plans? RE: RIP Babe channels?!? - gazfc - 21-12-2010 18:40 That is in regards to the 'Internet' and will never go through anyway, they've already tried the same with piracy and that fell on its arse RE: RIP Babe channels?!? - Regenerated - 21-12-2010 18:44 The babe channels won't die. These things the government try never work in the end. This will fail like all the other plans and the babe channels will go on. RE: RIP Babe channels?!? - mikedafc - 21-12-2010 18:50 It is another attempt to nanny these things for those parents too lazy to properly put in place measures both on TV and the internet to stop their children from viewing material that they should not be able to if proper age control measures already available were used. I thought we were talking about babe channels dying and porn being blocked? You asked if it would be blocked and I've told you I don't think it will, so has gazfc, we've both told you that we don't think it will. I didnt realise I was being pulled into a debate on education.... RE: RIP Babe channels?!? - bigguy01 - 21-12-2010 18:58 the internet porn are have isps from overseas which the uk cannot touch without the countries government involvement, america wont help has the adult industry is worth billions to the american economy. RE: Where next? - Scottishbloke - 21-12-2010 19:41 Its also a known fact that countries that have a repressed society such as Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia with strict laws on censorship actually creates terrorists. With a lack of information on what happens in the real world we end up with these fucking extremists with only their fucking religion and prayer book to use their own imagination for fun and end up starting fucking wars and carrying out the most barbaric and evil activities on the free western world. Think about that before you start deluding yourself that censorship is the right thing to do. With democracy and freedom brings a more civilised and contented individual devoid of any grand illusions to commit fucking attacks such as 9/11. Stick that in your pipe David Cameron and ask yourself the question again as to my knowledge we in the free and happy world don't produce fucking good for nothing fucking scum of the earth terrorists. |
