Seems odd that twice his off air comments have suddenly become public.
Someone at Sky didn't like him and dropped him in the shit.

People will now have to be more careful when they are mic'd up.

It is however, sexist of Gray and Keys to claim that Sian Massey or women in general, have no place in football. They are judging individuals by gender and not by ability. Thats sexism!

Seriously dude you definition of equality is eschew. Looking at women purely has sex object is totally sexist.

I don't like football, and I don't particularly know who this person is. My gripe with this is the fact that some one has recorded a PRIVATE off air conversation between two people expressing their own opinion. That was NOT said to ANY women, it was a pure act of vindictiveness on behalf of somebody who got two people the sack and who's dependents will probably suffer from it.

Now, whether you or I agree with their comments or not they are ENTITLED to view these opinions, they should be allowed to say these things in public if they so wished, let alone in private.

I know most men do talk in a sexist way about women, I've worked in butchers and the levels of sexism truly took me a back, you'd only have to tab hang in any bar to here sexist remarks. Difference is there's no one hiding with a mic A lot of men may agree with what they are saying but don't say anything.

But the same applies the opposite way, you can't be in the company of women for above 5 mins or watch a lot of films where men are portray has pathetic, sexist, love rats, who are inferior to women and it takes a women to sort them out having that morning clean all the house, made the dinner had 6 babies whist having the flu! and apparently it seems most men are weirdo kid fiddlers these days. Film and TV is loused with anti male sexism. Difference is, women are allowed to say these things, men don't have the same rights.

So to be serous and putting aside the obvious irony (I don't think it's sexist a women getting her tits out Rolleyes]. This strikes me not only has unfair (ok it was out dated views, but no where near the racist comments of that manager that time), but grossly hypocritical and the product of some ones personal spite.

I tell you what IS funny about this story; The credit being given to Rio Ferdinand for saying Gray's views were 'prehistoric'. This would be the same Rio Ferdinand that infamously rounded up 100 girls for a 2007 Man Utd Christmas party for what purpose ? Not to play chess I can tell you that much. Staggering hypocrisy.

You've got this completely wrong, loulo12. At the time of writing only 1 person has been sacked and not 2 as you claim. Also, Gray wasn't sacked for the reason you state above, he was merely given a warning for that incident and taken off his job for one televised match. The reason given by Sky for his sacking was a separate incident which came to light, described by Sky as making a "lewd suggestion" to a colleague.

For your information, I do not view women 'purely' as sex objects as you put it, and I'm sure that goes for many on this forum.

For me, the definition of Sexism is the belief or attitude that one sex is inherently superior to, more competent than, or more valuable than the other. Tongue

Well thank you for putting me right there, has I say I don't like football and i don't know this person. But with the media it seemed why they are sacked. If this Andy Grey had been up to no good, sack him, what about the other fella?
