That's my gripe. Not only does it look like a very wealthy professor is getting to travel the world at the tax payers expense he also likes to subtly push his own personal believes on people in the disguise of science, which I loath.
I suspect the 'involvement' of Discovery and Science channel helped to offset some of the production costs.
Great programme though.

A great programme, even if it was existentially depressing.
Ironic that D:Ream sang 'Things Can Only Get Better' when the second law of thermodynamics tells us, as ably explained by Cox, that they can only really get worse ^_^
