Last round of Championship matches starts today with 9 teams with meaningful matches,proving that 2 divisions work.The only thing they've got right with domestic cricket & has helped England reach No.1 test status.Yorkshire now relegated as Worcestershire gain a bowling bonus point.A big blow to Lancashire's hopes as skipper Glen Chapple limped off today.Warwickshire favourites now.

Even as a proud Yorkshireman,may I be the 1st to congratulate Lancashire on winning the County Campionship.
Lancashire were superbly led by Yorkshireman Glen Chapple a top bloke.

And all this was done with a team lacking in star names.
The entire team only has about 10 international caps between then.

So it's well done to the team, and specifically the captain and manager.

And thanks for the Hampshire players for their outstanding batting performance today.

Off to the pub tonight, because I may not be around next time, in 77 years time

Really pleased that Lancashire sealed the deal, so many times it hasn't worked out for us over the years, usually because of the bloody rain, and now we've won it fair & square.

Fair play to Warwickshire & Durham, who were both deserving and had good seasons.

However we won, so there Tongue
