There's currently a new update and once the PSN is back up you'll be able to change your password. Word is that PSN might be back up today as its being turned back on but will take sometime, also the PSN won't be fully restored till the end of the month but will be able to play online and chat which also has been upgraded so it will be more like the 360.

right sent email to sony (thanks to kalel) and they wont do anything because the email adress my acount is with was deleted, i dont know how or why but its gone so i cant change my password which is requiered to sign in psn so i had to create a whole new psn account therefor i have lost everything and sony says my email is not there responsability. so at the moment i am trying to re ad friends and get my cod stats up lol but still sony what a joke

Hey mate, I'm back from university now (came back on sunday) and I set up my PS3 and accepted the friend request you sent me mate. Can play online now also, so looking forward to playing....

Some news on the welcome pack in the U.K:
When the PS Store is restored, which will hopefully be by the end of the month, PSN users from across Europe will be able to claim their welcome back gifts.
All PSN users will be able to access the following, for free:
Two PS3 games from the following five:
LittleBigPlanet
Infamous
Wipeout HD/Fury
Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty
Dead Nation
Those with PSP accounts will also be able to download two games from the list, below:
LittleBigPlanet PSP
ModNation PSP
Pursuit Force
Killzone Liberation
As well as the free games, all PSN users will be given a free 30 day subscription to PS Plus. (Existing PS+ members will be given 60 days membership) and existing Music Unlimited subscribers will be given a free 30 days membership.

Am really happy that PSN is back up
and that what their offering as compensation is pretty cool. Not sure which 2 out of those 5 games I'm gonna get yet.I just hope the store returns soon as that's the biggest thing I miss
