RE: PES vs FIFA - iamthatjack - 02-10-2011 21:01 Very interesting that you say that, because my brother said the same thing, that the gameplay was incredibly slow, and that it became almost impossible to get around a defender. Play it a few more times, and see if you can get used to it, I'm sure you will and see it the same way that the reviewers have - that its a 9/10 type game! Personally, I am not surprised that you've said that, as this has been my main issue with FIFA for years, awful, slow gameplay! RE: PES vs FIFA - Regenerated - 02-10-2011 21:09 But it just doesn't seem realistic. I mean the referees are made up, the stadiums don't have the right name, and the gameplay is crap. Maybe its just because I haven't played a footy simulation game for a while. The footy games I've played before I've liked right from the start. I remember playing an excellent footy sim on the old playstation. I think that was FIFA, not entirely sure. The key was though that all the players sprites looked accurate, the stadiums were accurate and overall it was the first impressions that got you involved. Then when on this version the details fall down, then you find the speed of the play is snail like and almost impossible to move, I'm wondering what's happened. Did they run out of money when they'd finished the sound and menus? I don't want to put it in again. I think I'll be looking for a new footy game. I've voted for FIFA in this poll but after playing this for an hour, can say that I'm deeply angry and disappointed with FIFA 12. RE: PES vs FIFA - Phoenix - 02-10-2011 23:26 Well I hated the demo due to the gameplay being stupidly slow and the defending being a bit dodgy and wasn’t sure if I was going to buy the full game, but I got jammy as I was able to get it for £15 Played about 10 games so far and I gotta admit I really like it now. The gameplay for me is very realistic (although slow when players are on the ball) and the defending is too (harder because you have to time it well rather than just press but realistic) I can see why people don’t like it but I think it’s pretty decent once you get the hang of it RE: PES vs FIFA - iamthatjack - 10-10-2011 18:12 Well PES 2012 is coming out on Friday, anyone planning on buying it? I am! RE: PES vs FIFA - seth - 10-10-2011 21:22 (10-10-2011 18:12 )iamthatjack Wrote: Well PES 2012 is coming out on Friday, anyone planning on buying it? I am! I intend to. RE: PES vs FIFA - iamthatjack - 10-10-2011 21:57 Asda tends to on the release date, that's where I'm headed RE: PES vs FIFA - *Kal-El* - 10-10-2011 21:57 Will get PES 2012 in time just so many other games coming out at the same time . RE: PES vs FIFA - lovebabes56 - 22-10-2011 05:31 would like to see what someone thinks of both games on erither PC or Wii berfore i make a decision which to buy but i've played both in the past and often I find PES is slightly better than the other gameplay wise. so if anyone can say which is better for PC let me know and while I'm at it which footy manager sim is better :- Championship Manager or Foooball Manager? Just bought Football Manager 2012. |
