In the 70's Green Arrow had deal with the first Speedy Aka Roy Harper being addicted to heroin and finally breaking the habit thanks to Black Carney and of course the close friendship Green Arrow and Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) and with both them teaming and deal with real life current events in america with problems of corruption, racism, pollution.
