Person that's joined I heard that they looked at the forum as a guest for a couple of months before finally joining reading other members posts and looked at caps that's why he or she decided to give some of the members reps when joined because they did get to know about some of the members on the forum not all new members give reps when they join

Why not just say that instead of being cryptic?
It is interesting that this person got their first rep from you and went on to call you a "legend" and the "best capper" on their rep to you though...

Good point! it is their opinion at the end of the day I think there are lots of good cappers on here and I welcome a lot of newbies to forum

Where are the rules to say what is appriopriate to rep and what isn't? Who cares anyway? It's just a green number at the side of the screen. How is having one rep of having a 1000 going to make much difference?

Ok I got bit carried away when I joined and if that annoyed some members I apologise I looked at the forum first before I joined and decided I liked it and some of the members that's why I gave them some reps
