The total proved a little to good for New Zealand as they scored 164-9 in their 20 overs, so Pakistan win by 13 runs. next up is England vs India at 3pm, with both sides already through hopefully they will produce a good game.

Dernbach is an idiot. In the last over he changes a soft ball to a nice hard ball that the batsman can hit..
He then balls two wides.
Good job that the fielders saved a six with a great catch on the boundary.

Bad batting and good bowling and England are collapsing......... currently England are 60-7 in the 12th over. its all over a sorry batting display from England and only a last wicket stand got them past the lowest international T20 score, England bowled out for 80 and India win the match by 90 runs.

It keeps happening,& it wasn't really turning a mile.Coaches Andy Flower & Graham Gooch both good players of spin that swept well.If it's not your shot & your pick the wrong ball it's disasterous.Better employed getting to the pitch of the ball & hitting straight.Generally speaking we don't use our feet,play from the crease & are sitting ducks.Not easy when their 2 spinners turn it both ways.

For the 2nd match in sucession Ireland's captain William Porterfield recorded a golden duck.Out hooking to Watson & today bowled by West Indian Edwards.When asked at the toss about his previous dismissal & how he would go about it today,he said he would maybe let the 1st ball go ! The winners will play England on Thurday.

Ireland made 129-6 after the match was reduced to a 19 over match because rain halted play after 5 overs.West Indies didn't get the chance to reply as more rain meant a no result.West Indies qualify with a better run rate than Ireland.

If all of their moving parts can come together West Indies look a decent side alongside Australia and Pakistan. Bit worried about England not sure Broad is leadership material at this point.
