Maldonado Attacks Hamilton

Looks like Maldonado has been waiting to get his own back on Lewis Hamilton.

He should have been thrown out of tomorrow's Grand Prix, but instead lost 5 grid place positions.

Bizarre crash and I dont think that Lewis is blameless either. Hope he gets his mind right for the race and stuffs Vettel (cant see it though).

RE: Formula 1 - lucent-x - 28-08-2011 09:20

Maldonado should've been kicked out of the race, there is no excuse for what he did; Lewis was blameless for that incident, the stewards are morons.

Business as usual Sebastard Vettel wins again with has lapdog in tow.Listening to Hamilton's interview over the incident with Kobayashi proves what an arrogant child he is and that Jenson is the real star of that team

I'd highly recommened that anyone who's either a fan or has a passing interest in F1 watch this documentary about Forumla 1 in the 60s & 70s.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00z8v18/Grand_Prix_The_Killer_Years/

Grand Prix: The Killer Years

In the 60s and early 70s it was common for Grand Prix drivers to be killed while racing, often televised for millions to see. Mechanical failure, lethal track design, fire and incompetence snuffed out dozens of young drivers. They had become almost expendable as eager young wannabes queued up at the top teams' gates waiting to take their place.

This is the story of when Grand Prix was out of control.

Featuring many famous drivers including three times world champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, twice world champion Emerson Fittipaldi and John Surtees OBE, this exciting but shocking film explores how Grand Prix drivers grew sick of their closest friends being killed and finally took control of their destiny.

After much waste of life, the prestigious Belgian and German Grands Prix would be boycotted, with drivers insisting that safety be put first. But it would be a long and painful time before anything would change, and a lot of talented young men would be cut down in their prime.

This is their story.

'Something was terribly wrong. I loved the sport, but it was wrong. I prayed to God whether or not to continue.' - Emerson Fittipaldi

'It made me angry. The sport was way wrong.' - Sir Jackie Stewart OBE. ®

Think you are being a bit
harsh on Hamilton.

its well known that's he's a pal of lewis's, so therefore will be biased towards him. bout time, as always seems lewis gets fined for small things. imho.

Well that's being rather unfair to Nigel, there's no reason to think because they're friends that he'd show any bias. In any case, he's only one of the Stewards.

Well like him or not, he's clearly a better driver than Button.
