Looking like a foregone conclusion now Smile

While Rory was walking to the scorer's hut after his win, a young boy excitedly ran up asking for an autograph. But the grim-faced official, walking alongside, grabbed his arm and pushed him out of the way. Hope he's proud of himself when he watches it back in the highlights.

And well done Rory Smile

Yeah, I thought that was a bit mean.

I notice some fuss the other day with Wozniacki slagging him off. Which one of them is the loser now?

And does this mean he doesn't have to go back to being in Tears For Fears? Wink

Only the Masters win left now to complete the career slam.

Looks like being Faldo's last time at St Andrews.

Can't believe it's 20 years since Rocca's amazing last-hole putt that got him into a play-off.

Always amazed at the rule on former champs being admitted to the field. The likes of Langer or Lehman is one thing, but Mark Calcavecchia?!

RE: The Open - mikedafc - 18-07-2015 17:08

Due to rain and wind 2nd round to finish on Saturday, 3rd round played on Sunday and final round on Monday for only 2nd time in history(Lytham St Annes 1988)

RE: The Open - Snooks - 18-07-2015 17:33

Don't think the players who were sent out to play for 30 minutes in 40mph winds early this morning were too happy about doing so before play was suspended again.

RE: The Open - Matt77 - 18-07-2015 18:09

The wind had abated but then suddenly got up again. Seeing as the guys out there benefitted from being in the right half of the draw for the 1st round they have absolutely nothing to complain about

RE: The Open - Charlemagne - 20-07-2015 10:36

Final round today.
And the joint leader is amateur Irish golfer Paul Dunne.
He can't win, can he. Dare to dream.

Would it be too much of a sickener for him if he did, having to watch the million plus prize money being handed to someone else, as amateurs aren't allowed to recieve it.
