Another real shocker of a decision yesterday when Broad was allowed to stay despite being clearly caught at slip, but Australia could have used DRS to correct it if they hadn't wasted a review earlier in the day and now had no reviews left to them. This is just the type of poor decision that DRS should correct and is meant for, but not if you waste reviews as Australia did. Anyway England will feel that they were due a bit of luck with decisions, after the 2 that went against them the day before.

Australia require 311as England made 375 with Bell making an excellent century,& Broad a fine fifty.

Broad trapped Watson lbw for 46 & Root dismissed Cowan in the last over before tea to give England some hope.

I wonder what twist the scriptwriters have for tomorrows plot. Compelling drama at its best.

I was there today it was attack and counter all day. I have drawn this conclusion however. These sides are more closely matched than the media would have us believe. We are not as good as we think we are and Australia have a bit more about them then we were led to believe.

Although they haven't shown it in this match,I believe Englands top 7 batsmen are better, but for once I would back their last four to make more runs.Australia have the luxury of a good 5th bowling option in Watson if he can stay fit. With back to back Test twice in this series & hot weather, our 4 man attack could suffer.

eng to need remove agar quickly tomorrow futher wise he could score a ton and the win the test for the aussies.

2013 ashes so far great drama but not great quality overall, 2005 had everyting which why was called the greatest series ever and the edgebaston the greatest test match ever.

it is shaping upto be a great series. just need cook and root to hang around more to build a solid base for the likes of kp, bell, board to cash in on. kp needs to bat like he did in the 2nd innings then he would rack up more runs then trying to be aggressive all the time. i would have 6 john trotts to one kp.

If the Aussies win this test this will be a close series. But If they lose I think England could win 3 or 4-0 because England always have a habit of starting poorly when batting in their 1st innings of a test series. If they still win this test after scoring only 215 1st innings, that will hurt the Aussies mentally.
