Joke of a decision! Gutted for Groves, was great to see him turn the crowd around though. Alternatively I think Froch might've lost a few fans after his post fight interview

Having watched the fight it probably was a premature stoppage but Froch was getting on top in 8th and 9th rounds and would probably have got the stoppage win either in the 9th or in the last 3 rounds

Watched the fight 3 times now a terrible stoppage by the ref still trying to work out the reason why .also two judges had groves only a point up coming into the 9th round and the other correctly 5 up so I think except for groves knocking out froch he was never going to win the fight I will not utter the word fix .

I watched the fight now more than once i gonna say the ref was probably a little early but no more than that. Groves was gone. If he was in hospital now on a ventilator the referee would have been panned safety first is always the best option even if its not the most popular one.

I don't think Groves was gone. To me he looked far from finished. But such things are up to the referee and it's what he thought that counts.
