It had to be phenomenal as Netherlands needed to get the runs in 14.2 overs to qualify on run rate.

LOl. I got that badly wrong then.

A record for International T20 Cricket with 30 sixes in the match,& 19 hit by the Netherlands.

England have practiced bowling & fielding with balls soaked in a buckets of water to try & replicate the difficulties they may have to cope with with the dew in the evening.Whilst you have to admire their attention to detail, you can't help but think that they have more pressing areas of concern that they should be working on.

Luke Wright is doubtful for today's match

Give the ICC some credit for the new format, which I think has worked very well. Good experience for countries like Nepal, who have never been at a tournament like this before.

Wright has now been ruled out of the whole tournament and Craig Kieswetter has been called up as his replacement. This is England's 3rd withdrawal from the squad, after Root and Stokes were ruled out earlier.

England badly need a good start to the tournament.
It has reached the point where even the Dutch scare me Sad.

England have got 172 on the board,a decent total, but the Kiki's have a powerful batting line-up

England make 172/6 after being put in by New Zealand. I thought Parry would play but they decided to play both Bresnan and Jordan which I wasn't expecting. Anything to do with the dew? And could England have got more after a good start, 48/1 from the first 5 overs, that's the question?
