This is why I think Putin is involved.

but it was a mistake, and one would assume the russians aren't that incompetent. he's involved indirectly by supplying the separatists with weapons that they clearly don't have the expertise to use but to say 'it has putin written all over it' implies that he had some direct involvement, which imo is inaccurate.

Here is the transcript of an intercepted telephone conversation released by the Security Service of Ukraine, apparently between separatist militants nicknamed “Major” and “Greek”.

“Major”: These are Chernukhin folks who shot down the plane. From the Chernukhin check point. Those cossacks who are based in Chernukhino.

“Greek”: Understood, Major.

"Major": The plane fell apart in the air. In the area of Petropavlovskaya mine. The first 200. We have found the first 200. A Civilian.

“Greek”: Well, what do you have there?

“Major”: In short, it was 100 per cent a passenger aircraft.

“Greek”: Are many people there?

“Major”: Holy shit! The debris fell right into houses.

“Greek”: What kind of aircraft is it?

“Major”: I haven’t ascertained this. I haven’t been to the main site. I am only surveying the scene where the first bodies fell. There are the remains of internal brackets, seats and bodies.

“Greek”: Is there anything left of the weapon?

“Major”: Absolutely nothing. I've seen civilian items, medicinal stuff, towels, toilet paper.

“Greek”: Are there documents?

“Major”: Yes, of one Indonesian student. From a university in Thompson.

A mistake? How do you know this?

he's involved indirectly by supplying the separatists with weapons that they clearly don't have the expertise to use

IMO they are already trained how to use these weapons

but to say 'it has Putin written all over it' implies that he had some direct involvement, which imo is inaccurate.

Well from my stance, he is the dictator of the separatists

So a transcript of 2 Ukrainians talking is grounds for more action could be totally made up by ukraine to get the west more heavily involved thing is we dont know both sides have the weaponary and both sides could be seen to have motive for doing it. you know the saying the first casualty of war is the truth

thats why need a totally independant team of both westerners and russians under UN mandate to find out what really happened

Not according to the Ukraine government. They say they don't have any weaponry like that in eastern Ukraine.

It's worth noting that the commanding officer of the Ukrainian "separatists" is actually a GRU (Russian military intelligence) agent.

He is the same person who made the tweet just after the plane went down stating that Russian separatists shot down an AN-26.

Must be sophisticated to hit a plane at 30,000 ft. Wouldn't think it would be to easy to acquire this type of technology without some major help. Either a mistake, or weapon given to idiots intent to cause mayhem. In the long run, more blood on the hands of shady arms dealers, and dictators.

Max operating height is around 70,000 feet I believe.

and a range of 30 miles which limits where the missile could've been fired from.
