Strauss has said that Kevin's not been picked as it's an 'massive trust issue' and it wouldn't be in the short term interest of the team

In other words we would rather continue to lose than bring him back into the team

Problem with him is he thinks he's above everyone else and although he might be a great player he's a flawed personality. No good having one star player if the other 10 can't stand him. Let's not forget what he did in the series against South Africa. If he had been working for me he'd have been kicked out of the door and never given another chance. I do though think that idiot Graves the new ECB Chairman has a lot to answer for because it dies seem he led him on a few weeks ago.

He sent text messages to the South Africans about England players said to include his captain Andrew Strauss.

Yes but he did humbly apologise for that. He even went to Andrew Strauss's house to apologise.

The guy gives up a lucrative offer for the IPL to play for England - he was the best play & highest scorer in the last Ashes in Oz! You would never see football like this - do they actually want England to win or not!

RE: Kevin Pieterson - Whynot - 13-05-2015 21:14

Trust issues... yep... like going on safari and a team mate magically turns up at lords on the exact day u r sacked from the captaincy whilst out of the country... yep trust... it can be a bitch

Piers Morgan writing in the Mail.

Quote: Kevin Pietersen is a rare, maverick talent brought down by a mediocre bunch of petty, lying political pygmies - every true England sports fan should demand his return

His Test record for the previous 12 months since he last played was ordinary at best. At 35 he is hardly the future he has what a season in him at best two if you stretch it. Its time to move on from he carries too much baggage which is not worth the price of upsetting the team dynamic.
