To be fair, I would say the point you were making did not require a lot of cleverness, but was more a statement of the obvious.

Did I get that right, Admiral?

Because they wanted extra income.

Can I just point out something here Admiral which seems to have been massively overlooked.
This 'question' you've quoted here is what's known as a rhetorical question, you didn't need to answer it.
We all know S66 are 'in it for the money'.
The debates from yesterday never really questioned that fact, only some of the unusual ways they sometimes appear to do things. It's a valid question because like I have pointed out previously, Babestation seem to take a completely different approach.

That may explain a few things then Phil as to why they do things differently? Great input and thanks.

So how well did STD 66 do last year, doing the things they do ? .

I don't know but they obviously didn't lose money on that scale, because a small company like that could never raise that amount of credit in the first place. For Studio 66 to run up losses of that kind is quite impossible. They would be liquidated before they got anywhere near a loss like that.

RE: [split] Elite TV/Studio 66 - General Chat & Discussion - Digital Dave - 07-02-2015 13:33

^^ The scale of S66's loss (if they made a loss) could be the same as Cellcast's, relative to the size of the business. As you're obviously the forum expert please answer mr mystery's question.

I may be an expert, but as we're not talking about a public company or even a large private company it follows that being expert doesn't allow me to see their accounts. The only thing that can be said for certain (as already explained) is that they aren't on the same level as Cellcast financially or anywhere near their league and couldn't possibly run up a loss of £2.5m. If you want to know whether Studio 66 made a profit or a loss last year you would have to contact them and ask them directly.

RE: [split] Elite TV/Studio 66 - General Chat & Discussion - southlondonphil - 07-02-2015 13:58

These last 4 posts are perhaps missing the point I was making, which is that Babestation can't he held up as an example of how to do things successfully because for the last few years they haven't been successful.

Bandwagon understood the point, but mr mystery and Digital Dave didn't seem to get it.

It follows that whether Studio 66 makes a profit or a loss (which is unknown anyway) is not relevant to the point that was being made.
