"As the report makes clear there were no lies, parliament and cabinet were not misled, there was no secret commitment to war."
"The intelligence was not falsified and the decision was made in good faith."

Tony Blair.

Well, that's OK, then. bladewave Huh

Clinton pales into insignificance compared to Trump who has no idea what the word diplomacy means and has said complimentary things about a number of tyrants & indicated he would use waterboarding.

Did you not see This https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/jul/06/donald-trump-saddam-hussein-comments-republicans

Called Saddam great at killing terrorist now its like the Harvard of Terrorism !!

^ yeah I saw it.

I know plenty of people hate Blair and won't under any circumstances forgive him or believe he acted correctly.

Any Prime Minister bears a heavy burden when they send our armed forces into conflict. I simply don't believe he did what he did with criminal intentions as some are claiming

Let me put it another way. If there had been a referendum at the time & on the basis that we knew Saddam was a tyrant who had gassed Iraqi Kurds but we had no idea if he had weapons of mass destruction I would have voted to remove him. He was an evil dictator.

Trump's an idiot who says whatever he thinks will go down well with the audience he is addressing and/or what will get him headlines etc. Ultimately, I'm not sure we can believe what he says, or even if he knows what he himself thinks about anything, never mind know what he would do if he had any power (perish the thought!) ! eek

Clinton has a track record, not just of supporting the Iraq war, but also with her support for intervention in Libya (some say she was the driving force behind it!), and she was 'champing at the bit' for much greater intervention in Syria; all of these 'escapades' have been disastrous, and have done such a great job of making the world a safer place (not!)! bladewave Huh

Be afraid, be very afraid. Sad

So would we expect Blair to appear at the Hague criminal court any time soon with bush?

^ There go those flying pigs again! bladewave

Rolleyes

BTW, America is not a member of the International Criminal Court.

Blair and bush are the two biggest terrorists of modern times and the Chilcott report a whitewash. Both of them should be standing trial for war crimes.
