Mark King came from 4-2 down to beat John Higgins 6-5 Smile His interview was quite cheery too.

Ryan Day finished off Li Hang with a 138 in the decider.

RE: UK Championships - Doddle - 08-12-2017 08:49

Ronnie was pushed all the way to the decider by Sonny Akani, but he came through.

Ronnie and Maguire came through comfortably in the afternoon, although at least Joe Perry and Martin Gould put up some resistance to save face.

I'd assume Tubs Murphy is 2nd favourite now, possibly higher if Maguire can deal with Ronnie tomorrow.

RE: UK Championships - Doddle - 09-12-2017 08:52

Murphy came through comfortably, but Ryan Day was pushed to a decider again.

With a weary sense of inevitability, it's Ronnie v Tubs in today's final.

RE: UK Championships - HannahsPet - 10-12-2017 22:04

Absolutely unbelievable. I couldn't call it before today, and even at 5-5. O'Sullivan has been a bit hit and miss this week (before today) and Murphy had been playing as well as anybody. Hendry put it best, O'Sullivan just went right up through the gears this evening. Sensational.
