Much of the fear and hysteria about HIV/AIDS in the 80's this country was down largely to the ad put out by the GOVT of the time
Remember that programme that was about the advice given - wasn't Ian Drury presenting it?
But I would say that a young woman adult performer driven to take her own life because she believed it was her right to refuse intercourse should not have been subjected to the abuse and her view should have been respected but I think this has to make all social media sites bring rules/regulations that doesn't tolerate levels of abuse and provide individuals with a far more safe and secure level of reporting any serious threats/abuse that they receive and can be reassured that they are being dealt with in the strictest of confidence.

We don't knowmuchat most 13 days since his last negative test and the man he had had sex with was at most 13 days away from his last negative test, he was in the same boat as all the straight performers the only thing that separated them was an irrational fear, all she said was that he had done gay porn giving no context to the level of screening he would of received or that anal sex is less common in homosexual couples than heterosexual and that allows ignorance fueled phobia to flourish.
She may well not have looked at is as being homophobic but as I said early we as a society need conduct ourselves better and not feed hysteria, misinformation and irrational fear of those that are different and I regret that the her statement will have done that
would there have been a fuss if she had refused to do a scene with someone who was known to have a history of taking drugs by injecting therefore still a risk contracting HIV? probably not but they saw the word Gay and thought she was being homophobic.
all I know that its a tradgedy and im sure the performer involved would be devastated at her death as much as the rest of us

It's always sad when someone takes their own life. RIP
What puzzles me about this story is that I've been interested in this industry for what, 20+ years, and I don't think I've ever come across, er, heard of this woman before.

Strange and sad the way pornstars die so young it has happened to a lot of pornstars now. I think a lot of people are to hard on pornstars because of what they do at the end of the day it is just a job , to be honest i think they have guts to do what they do , i mean for fuck sake they are fucking with strangers well sometimes they know the pornstars you gotta admit that takes guts R.I.P.
