The American's are playing some excellent golf. Jordan Spieth played a miraculous shot from the lakeside bank below the green (and he nearly ended up falling in the lake). The only European who's matching them is John Rahm.

I've been wondering where Justine Rose is?

I saw the Spieth's shot, I think he acted it up a bit to make it look even more dramatic.

It the last qualifying event Wiesberger moved into an automatic spot, which pushed Lowry out, so Harrington felt that he had to use him as a pick, he had been consistent & had good current form. Without this turn of events, Harrington might have gone with the experience of Rose, despite his poor form, he looked to be getting back to his best at Wentworth.

Roy being left out was the right call, but with a big player out, I think he needed to give some extra responsibility to Fleetwood, I know that you shouldn't panic & rip up your plans, but he needs to show some flexibility with his pairings.

Different day, same shit. Day 2 morning Fourballs finish with a 3-1 advantage to USA. The overall score is 9 -3 in favour of the USA. After another poor start, especially in the top 2 matches, with both losing the first 3 holes. The Spaniards turned their match around with a 3 & 1 win over Koepka & Berger. Europe had the lead in 2 other matches, but let them slip. overall Europe competed better, but again USA holed many more putts.

11-5 at the end of day two.
Pretty much over.
I simply don't see another Miracle of Medinah coming. The US are just too strong.

Wonder where the bandwagon will appear next after the wheels fall off today?? I wonder also, if there is any other commentary aside from the Murray/Harman/|Radar (chuck him in the ocean) etc ranting and raving?? TOO TOO MUCH ALREADY|!!

Europe are starting off the singles with win less Rory McIlroy, who's paired against Xander Schauffele.

We need more Spanards in the team next time. Rahm and Garcia have been our only stars.

Sharing Day 2 Fourball matches 2-2, wasn't what Europe were looking for. Another point was on the cards, with Hovland & Fleetwood, until DeChambeau & Scheffler turned the match their way.
It doesn't matter how you line them up in the singles, USA require just 3.5 points to win the 43rd Ryder Cup. Europe will need 9 points to retain the Ryder Cup, as defending Champions.
Still plenty of individual pride at stake, & I wonder if we are seeing some of Europe's veterans for the last time.

A big ask to put it mildly, since the bookies make the Americans the frontrunners in 11 of the 12 matches. Jon Rahm is the only Europe player who starts his match as the favourite.

^^ I did see one source that predicted a 7.5 - 4.5 win for the USA in the singles. That looks to be a tough ask.
