RE: The Witcher - Rammyrascal - 11-01-2022 14:37 Is this worth watching? Been meaning to give it a go RE: The Witcher - skully - 11-01-2022 14:59 The show is excellent, if you haven't given it a go and you like fantasy adventure, do it. You won't be disappointed. RE: The Witcher - Jam Da Man - 11-01-2022 16:06 It'd probably help if you've played one of the games, or read a/the books, as it can all be a bit much as far as locations and who's who goes. GOT, for example, had a quick tour of the map during the opening credits of each episode, which helped to explain where everything is. The Witcher takes place almost entirely on 'The Continent', but there's not much in the show to say exactly where the different factions within are. Season 1 takes some working out, timeline wise, but that eventually becomes apparent. Season 2 is more straightforward. The show looks great, as you'd expect. The main actors do generally fit their roles really well. Henry Cavill is just absolutely perfect as Geralt, the series' main protagonist. But yeah, just watch it. ![]() |
