He was all things, as one poster has said a Tax Dodger and a Cheat. He was always a brilliant footballer and on his day and there were lots of them, the best in the world.

Spoke to my mate about this his comment was "The guy was a cunt but a brilliant one"

Now returning to my friends phrase, on the scale on 1 to 10 Maradona is very much at the lower end,

Time to consider who the biggest cunts you have met in your private life are, for me it was Bernie Cornfeld (Google him) do that and consider where Mardona ranks not very high I would imagine

Turning to Hannah's Pet comments.

Until this summer of course where they will get destroyed by the young english side and never qualify for anything again

Nice comment, I will be surprised if we make it out of our group, we failed with Dalgleish, Souness and Gemmill so why should this time be different. However I think Steve Clarke will have them fired up for this game on the 18th of June and this will be their consolation victory
Might end up as a game of two halves Tongue Tongue by half time you wished you wasn't playing us Tongue

You have to hand it to him.

Luck of the draw innit? Hodgson got Italy and Uruguay and treated like crap.

Southgate got Tunisia and Panama and treated like a bloody genius!

Maradona > Southgate

Prosecutors now claim his death was the result of "omissions" by his caregivers.

Eight doctors, nurses and a psychologist who cared for football legend Diego Maradona will be tried for homicide.

Maradona, who captained Argentina's 1986 World Cup-winning team, died in November 2020 at the age of 60.

The charge carries a sentence of between eight and 25 years in prison.

His death obviously had nothing to do with him being grossly overweight and a drug user.shocked
