^^ Nice part of the world, stayed in a cottage there, I remember it well I fell down stairs, & that was before I'd visited the pub across the road.

Apparently they've been filming scenes for 'The Witcher' at Gordale Scar.
And Henry Cavill was stopping at a nearby hotel.

There a series starting tonight on BBC2 called 'Take A Hike'

15 episodes beginning in Yorkshire around Malham Cove.
Followed by episode 2 from Ilkley Moor.

Every time this thread pops up I misread the title as #Wankshire.

They had a local Yorkshire delicacy called a 'Fat Rascal' Big Grin
It turns out that it's a fruity scone and nothing to do with a forum member Wink

Robin Hood's Bay tonight

Not bad this, it's like Four in a Bed, with the B&B replaced with a walk.

I'd have given her 2 points for making me go into the sea in winter, but increased it to 10 when she brought out the pork pies. Smile

^^ I swim in the North Sea, but avoid Brid, the water is shite, literally. Sad Thought the chips looked a bit scabby.

Take a Hike Ep.4 - Brimham Rocks - Fountains Abbey
Enjoyed Brimham Rocks which is where I started rock climbing & did my first abseil. The rest of the walk was all about monk facts, but surprisingly there was very little about the Abbey itself.
