Brit Neal Skupski made the men's doubles final, but lost.

Rybakina won the ladies final after overhauling Sabalenka 7-6 (13-11) 6-4 in a gruelling encounter.

Carlos Alcaraz is back to World number one after dispatching Medvedev 6-3 6-2.

Katie Boulter lost her first round; as did Jack Draper and Dan Evans.

However Emma Raducanu and old-timer Andy Murray did get wins.

Emma Raducanu is through to round 3 after her opponent Dayana Yastremska withdrew before the end of the first set with injury.

Cameron Norrie also progressed with a 6-4 6-4 win over Lorenzo Sonego.

Raducanu fought hard but lost 6-3 7-5.

Cameron Norrie also lost out in 3 sets to Gael Monfils.

I would say itb is more than likely that we will be seeing Sir Andy at either Paris or Wimbledon possibly for the last time on court this summer.

To be fair, the more wins she gets in early rounds, the better her ranking and consequently the better draws. Playing someone really good in the 3rd round is to be expected (and lucky not to meet them earlier, given the depth in ability in the womens' game).

Naomi Osaka also lost in the 3rd round, as did Sloane Stephens. Good shoulders for Emma to be rubbing Surprised
