I love the dream fourball partnership of Tommy & Rory.. FleetwoodMac.

Let's hope that they can knock in an 'Albatross' and carry on with Europes 'Landslide' of the USA

Currently in the early stages of this mornings Foursomes. Euro are up in 3 & 1 tied.

The US needed a good start in today's foursomes so they combined the World number one Scottie Scheffler with five-time major winner Brooks Koepka. They were up against Scandinavian duo Viktor Hovland & Ryder cup rookie Ludvig Aberg in the 2nd of the matches.

But the match didn't last long with Aberg & Hovland winning by 9 with 7 holes left to play. It was a record score.

Euro 7.5, US 1.5.

Europe win the day two foursomes 3-1 meaning they now have a 9.5-2.5 point lead overall heading into the fourballs.

No time to lose focus though.
Need to keep pushing and build the lead further this afternoon. No complacency.

10 1/2 - 5 1/2 So nine from 12 tomorrow for the Americans. I haven't been watching at all really, but i tuned in to hear the after day show where they were discussing some after match shenanigans. Paul McGinley seemed to think it was fine? It lit a fire under Rory for sure! What triggered it??

Just a thought, would Mc Ginley be 'so what' at every other tournament?? With Golfs supposed standards - not taking a moralistic (or any) stance really- just intrigued. By the way, we know they are going 3 days without prize money - not exactly an altruistic gesture, or hardship.

Europe have regained the Ryder Cup with a 16.5-11.5 victory in Rome.

They cruised up to 14-7 in front before a wall of red delayed the victory.
Tommy Fleetwood got Europe over the line and then Robert MacIntyre won his match and Shane Lowry claimed a half.

Next stop BethPage complex in New York.
The most vociferous American crowd in the sport of Golf.
Tough, tough and tougher.

But for now Europe are Ryder Cup Kings once again.

Not wearing their Ryder cup hats wasn't a good look for the Americans. Tanned faces and a lily white forehead looked just odd.
