Andy Murray - out
Cameron Norrie - out
Liam Broady - out

Only Katie Boulter remains in the singles and she faces Rybakina next.

British interest looks quite a lot stronger in the doubles events though so one to keep an eye on with that.

My fave Elina Svitolina is still going strong.
A fine win over Sofia Kenin 7-6 (7-3) 6-1.
Next up Victoria Azarenka of Belarus.
Don't expect any handshakes in that one whatever the result.

Svitolina is playing some fine tennis at present after having a baby in 2022 with Gael Monfils.

Elena Rybakina saw off Katie Boulter with minimal fuss 6-1 6-1.

I don't think it does said Brits, or viewers, much good to have Clare Balding talking them up like giants. Based on the pre-match billing, you'd have thought this was going to be a contest of equals. I realise they can't go "and of course she'll get smashed", but there are polite but credible ways to build up anticipation without suggesting a miracle might be on the cards. She did the same earlier in the week with I think Heather Watson, based on one good showing nearly a decade ago. We could all big ourselves up in that way, but it wouldn't be sensible.

Elina Svitolina.

You go girl.

Big GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin.

Match of the championship so far against Azarenka. The intensity in the second and third sets was ferocious and the crowd were supporting Svitolina as if she was British Surprised.

Azarenka led 6-2 2-0 but Svitolina battled back to take the second set 6-4.
In the third set Svitolina led 3-0 only for Azarenka to level at 3-3.
A case of who wanted it more as the two slugged it out to 6-6 and a champions breaker. Svitolina with the first mini break but then Azarenka took control at 7-5.
Back came Svitolina and it goes 9-9 sudden death. Incredible eek.

Two more points followed and victory 11-9 in the breaker. Wow.
Just Wow.

Note to Court one crowd: No excuse for booing Azarenka off the court Rolleyes. Yes I wanted Svitolina to win as well but come on now bladewave.
It is a Svitolina decision not to shake hands with Russian or Belarusian players not an Azarenka one. Both players knew there would be no handshake.
Get a grip people.

Great match ongoing between Dimitrov and Rune on Court One Big Grin.

The dream is still alive for Elina Svitolina after a titanic effort to knock out the number one seed Iga Swiatek 7-5 6-7 (5-7) 6-2.

In the semis she will face Marketa Vondrousova who saw off Jessica Pegula 6-4 2-6 6-4.

In the men's draw Jannik Sinner has seen off Roman Safiullin 6-4 3-6 6-2 6-2.

Novak Djokovic has beaten Andrey Rublev 4-6 6-1 6-4 6-3.

Second seed Aryna Sabalenka overpowered Madison Keys to win 6-2 6-4.

She will face Ons Jabeur in the semi finals after the Tunisian avenged last year's final defeat by Elena Rybakina to win 6-7 (5-7) 6-4 6-1.

In the men's Daniil Medvedev finally ended the hopes of Christopher Eubanks in five enthralling sets.
He claimed a 6-4 1-6 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 6-1 victory over the charismatic American.

And Carlos Alcaraz has seen off Holger Rune 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 6-4 to reach the last four.

Alas the Svitolina dream is over after a semi final loss to Marketa Vondrousova 6-3 6-3.

In the final Vondrousova will face Ons Jabeur who claimed a mightily impressive win over the hard hitting Aryna Sabalenka
6-7 (5-7) 6-4 6-3.

Meanwhile Britain has representation in the men's doubles final.
Neal Skupski and his Dutch partner Wesley Koolhof are to play Horacio Zeballos and Marcel Granollers for the title.

Pleased for Vondrousova, who got little or no attention up to this win. Jabeur though will be favourite, carrying the hopes of Tunisia with her.

It's a Djokovic v Alcaraz final.

Djokovic saw off Jannik Sinner 6-3 6-4 7-6
(7-4) while Alcaraz demolished Daniil Medvedev 6-3 6-3 6-3.
