Another drubbing ![]() RE: India v England ODI and T20 series 2025 - Boomerangutangangbang - 12-02-2025 16:18 Now the McCullum has charge of all formats, the method clearly isn't working, not even in T20's. The honeymoon period in the Test game is long over, England's style of play doesn't beat the best & smartest teams. In the 50 over format they have lost the plot, convinced that it is an elongated T20 game, when it is closer to traditional Test Match methods. They are showing stubbornness, brainlessness, inflexibility & a total inability to adapt. This is an example of style over substance, ultimately what matters is results. I'm growing tired of the mantra of this is how we play, we want to entertain. Losing is not entertaining. RE: India v England ODI and T20 series 2025 - lovebabes56 - 12-02-2025 19:08 We have 10 days before facing Australia to put things right, it's a very disappointing result, but now we have to re - focus RE: India v England ODI and T20 series 2025 - lovebabes56 - 13-02-2025 09:42 This ODI series defeat sees England drop to 7th in the ICC ODI rakings probably our lowest ranking for quite some time. The players need to get everything out in the open and clear their heads and stop playing 50 overs like it is T20 and be more measured in their approach. If we get humiliated in the Champions Trophy, we'll definitely drop out of the top 10 ODI rankings for sure, and like I said before - we have 10 days to get it right. |
