Wow a five wicket win!! What a run chase and brilliant to see Duckett getting a century. I wouldn't write India off completely, I think although they lost they are still capable off pulling together and probably give us a good run for our money in the next two matches and certainly can take heart from how they played and build on it. It's still a side in transition, but certainly a side that is capable of springing a surprise if we're not careful.

The umpires weren't at all helpful yesterday, with their many 'umpires call' decisions.
I see that Reddy was out when he didn't play a shot, it swung in at the last minute and it knocked out the off stump. I've done that and you feel pretty stupid.

It's always a good day when they keep showing the records, highest partnership, fastest 100.
I've been looking at the England test averages. Brook is just behind Herbert Sutcliffe on 60.37 (60.73 for Sutcliffe).
Smith is currently in 8th place with 56.26

Zak Crawley's had a terrible test. Two ducks and dropped an absolute sitter.
And they have Bethel waiting to get in the team. That will take some reorganising
But he's not alone, this England bowling attack is toothless.
