RE: Club World Cup - lovebabes56 - 30-06-2025 10:38 Will FIFA still claim this tournament a financial success? All I can say is I am sure USA/Mexico 2026 can't be any worse - can it? RE: Club World Cup - William H Bonney - 30-06-2025 12:54 Yes the tournament is already guaranteed to be a financial success. In fact the prize pool for the competing clubs is more than double the prize pool for the FIFA World cup 2022. RE: Club World Cup - chelsealion - 01-07-2025 15:56 It's been a good tournament throughout but yesterday was surely the best day so far. Al Hilal knocking out Man City was sensational. RE: Club World Cup - shaun blue - 02-07-2025 16:23 Yes great football throughout. It's just crazy that the players get so little rest before the next season starts. RE: Club World Cup - Jamie's Knight - 05-07-2025 22:44 PSG v Real Madrid on Wednesday night should be a cracker. It clashes with France v Wales at the women's Euros though. What a tough choice for fans of the beautiful game... RE: Club World Cup - William H Bonney - 06-07-2025 11:00 Quarter Final attendances Fluminense vs Al-Hilal - 43,091 (72%) Palmeiras vs Chelsea - 65,782 (97%) Paris Saint-Germain vs Bayern Munich - 66,937 (94%) Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund - 76,611 (93%) RE: Club World Cup - Snooks - 08-07-2025 20:21 Fair play. Top goal from João Pedro for that finish against Fluminense. And a second one to boot. RE: Club World Cup - shaun blue - 09-07-2025 13:45 I'm very impressed that João Pedro had a personal trainer with him whilst on holiday in Rio, so when Chelsea signed him he could join the squad right away and was ready to go. Very professional. Nice that he didn't celebrate against his old club too, saying that having been a youth player there he owed them a lot. Speaking of old clubs, Thiago Silva has played for 3 of the 4 semi-finalists in this competition. RE: Club World Cup - William H Bonney - 10-07-2025 13:52 The last time Real Madrid conceded 3 goals in the first 24 minutes of a match, before last night, was November 2003 (vs Sevilla in La Liga). |
