Hm, you could always open it up and see if something is stopping the power button from working. My Master System still works, but the up button on the gamepad works when it feels like. It's good because Alex the kidd is installed on it.

i need a special screwdriver to open up the pack, i remember years ago asking nintendo if they repair it, they sure and gave me a price. funny enough it was the same price for a new one pmsl

Any of the early Megaman's are fun.

As for others, Metroid & Super Metroid, Kid Icarus, Batman on the NES, Duck Tales, Kirby, Earthworm Jim, Ninja Gaiden and obviously most of the Mario games are all amazing platformers ('cept the non-Japanese Mario 2, screw that.)

Contra n stuff. I was also addicted to Marble Madness as a kid, that was insanely hard.

Been cleaning up my old systems and trying to buy some bargain games. Managed to pick up a load of PS2 games along with PS1 and Wii games. I really wanna rebuy a N64 and to pick up a Dreamcast and some other consoles. This is one of fav retro pick ups.

Myself and two mates are currently working on restoring an old Tekken arcade game that we bought from a guy online. The machine itself works but there is damage to the screen and the artwork on the sides is in bad shape.
