Appreciate they have a website which requires membership, and theirs is good value compared to some.
But the webstreams should be separate from the members area.
They don't charge £10 a month to watch tv, and haven't significantly reduced the quality of the tv picture for those who don't pay, so how can they justify doing it to the webstreams?
Calls cost £2 per minute whether a member or not and that charge should cover the cost of the stream, the same as it covers the cost of the tv channel.
It is unfair for them to charge webviewers £2 per minute and £10 per month.

Someone said that its a business, which it is, but it's also a rip off and imo shortsighted.
There are a finite number of sky viewers and the numbers pale in comparison to the potential for web viewing, and like it or not, the web is the future of babeshows.
At a time when offcom are flexing some muscle, costs are rising, the division between hc/sc and shows/camsites are blurring, and competition is increasing, I would have thought they should be investing in their web custom and not alienating. Instead they have followed Elite and imposed a severe limit on themselves which will restrict their potential market and discourage new viewers.

Its a shame - what they did with the site and the pic quality was excellent, and I've found myself watching rlc far more often in the last few weeks than ever before - it had almost become the site I checked first...

But I'm an occasional viewer and even more occasional caller - for me, depends on the girls and rlc don't have many 'nice' girls imo (sorry, not into excessive artwork & over inflation). But with this change, they've just turned an occasional viewer into an ex viewer because the quality is dire. There's no point even checking out who's on anymore as the stream just isn't watchable. And there's a lot of choice available on the web.

So conclude that if I'm part of the market they want to catch, the changes to the stream have had the opposite effect. I'm gone.

I was about to join the RLC website but i saw £20 for 30 days all i can say to that is bite me lol. I think i'll wait till the C Card link work unless Cathy does Paypal but i'll only be paying for (30 days recurring for £9.95)

By the way are the webstreams working in the members area??

So we've lost another.... - Money_Shot - 17-07-2011 11:36

We have lost another free to view online stream.

First channel I noticed was Elite Tv, now RLC have joined in. Pay £9.95 a month to watch this and get exclusive ... blah blah blah!

I don't have a TV, and I watch the streams online, and when I find a channel I like I big screen it Cool

However, lost another one, sad to see it's RLC who have made this change as they have some hot hot babes!

So those of us without Sky cant watch via the stream unless we flash the cash, AND, we cant watch any videos because RLC have banned it. Nothing like good customer relations...

Just another company trying to squeeze money out of everyone. Annoying as it is, its the way the industry is moving, less about us and more about making money. Can't really blame them.

I think you can blame them. Everything in this fucking country is getting more and more expensive. Phone calls to these hot babes ain't cheap, and now if they expect you to pay for it also then they can cram it.
No way have I got an extra £10 a month to spare on watching over restricted watered down softcore streams.

I'm gutted to be honest, as RLC have started to up the pace and some of the babes on the station are sexy and sin...

I love babechannels, however I don't love having to pay extra for them, especially in this day in age when you have offcom pulling the strings.

But they are a business, their aim is to make money. In that sense, they will do what they think is best to generate more money. At the moment, say for arguments sake, 1000 people watch the webstream for free. Of that number, say 950 are put off. By charging £10 a month, they would still make 1000-950=50x10 = £500 a month that they wouldn't have made otherwise! I know it's shitty for the fans / customers, but all they wanna see are ££££

Yes, from a business point of view it's great. Like you say the chances are they probably will end up with a bit more cash in the pocket. Short term.

I don't even think they have the right to charge given the poor quality of the stream anyway.
