But sport can produce huge surprises now and again.
This would be bordering on miraculous though if Maria pulls it off. The size of the task is monumental.
Williams has the better serve, the better return, more power, better game at the net, superior movement and is better on both forehand and backhand side.
There is hardly anything that favours Sharapova in this match up. But on the day you never know........

Serena's playing Maria off the court in the 1st set.
However Serena's not well and is struggling for breath.
Maria's best hope is to keep the match going as long as possible

Well I am not getting no sleep tonight.
Cricket at 3am until 8.30am when I Sky plus the rest of it and tune in to watch Muzza try to win his first Australian Open title.
