The Ep 10 finale season 3 is titled “The Last Generation”.

I hope the run time of this last episode is more than 45-50 minutes, surely they can't wrap everything up in a regular length episode.

RE: Star Trek Picard - Skyline - 15-04-2023 19:08

Totally agree, there's a lot to wrap up in one last episode. I've been really enjoying this so far, but for me atleast, the reveal of The Borg being 'The Big Bad' seemed a bit of a let down - I was hoping for a new enemy, but they went with the borg again.

Don't get me wrong, The Borg are in some of the best episodes within the Star Trek franchise and the movie First Contact is probably the best Next Generation movie imo.

My highlight of this episode was seeing all the next generation crew on the Enterprise.

I'm okay with it being the Borg (I want a Borg origin show still), just wish there was more to it all, more episodes, more build up, just more.
Also, not gonna lie, them on their Enterprise hit me right in the feels. The carpet, the computer, Worf moaning about the weapons system.

A Borg origin series would be great to see, but I want more. I want to know what happened after Endgame, (I think an earlier episode of Picard mentioned the Borg were in "disarray" or something along those lines). What exactly happened after Future Janeway infected them? Did the species of the Delta quadrant form an alliance to go after a weakened collective and finally fight back against them? Did the Alpha/Beta quadrant species go after Borg strongholds near their space too? Are the unimatrix zero free Borg still around as a resistance cell with more ships at their disposal? So many unanswered questions that could fill a Borg series. Not asking for too much is it Tongue

Data saying "Hello Chair" as well Smile

Loved seeing Elizabeth Dennehy back as Shelby (now Admiral Shelby) & the reaction from Picard & Riker when they saw Shelby was brilliant. Met Elizabeth at Destination Star Trek in 2021 & she's really lovely

Also lovely that Alice Krige was back as the Borg Queen

Another favourite moment was Captain Shaw finally calling Seven "Seven Of Nine" as he made her captain of the Titan
