Travelling down the M6 towards Birmingham.
The motorway signs came up saying 20 minute delays between a couple junctions further down the M6.
Time was at a premium so I decided to switch onto the M6 toll, only to find out that I wasn't the only one.
At the toll booths there were lots waiting to pay (use their cards), and it took 20 minutes to get through.
So I'd just wasted money and saved no time. annoyed

I won't fall for that again.

I started with sneezing then progressed shivering (so much I couldn't pick up an empty glass). Went bed at that point to keep warm only to start sweating profusely. Woke up overnight coughing uncontrollable and that persisted until last night. When I used to commute into London I'd pick up a bug once a year and funnily enough I went into London on Friday. The only good news is it helped my diet!

Glad you're feeling better

I suppose you was relieved the Covid test was negative and that ruled that out. Normally I get a bug from having been bitten years ago in Scotland at this time of year but haven't had anything for a few years

I have felt rough for the last few days. Not full blown flu but sore throat, sneezing and general lethargy.

Gotta say, this long spell of gloomy unsettled weather we’ve had since the end of June has been as exquisite as drinking an entire barrel of raw sewage and once you’ve finished the barrel, having to eat a five course meal consisting of -

A plate of live Brazilian wandering spiders

A bowl of cowpat

A smoothie of guts and giblets

A bar of almost set concrete

And a platter of old and rotten pungent seafood

Chugged down with a glass of three month old lumpy out of date milk.

Pure coincidence or what?
My hearing aid stopped working yesterday - THREE days before getting my new one on Wednesday!! I know it has been warm and mahybe sweat has damaged it but checked it this morning and still not working. Been promised the new one is is more poerful than this one and It would be nice if it was one of the new bluetooth type ones that are around but not expecting much to change.

And there was I wondering what does Putin has for breakfast??????

It's a minor thing in the general scheme of things but still pisses me off.

Some people who play online Uno.
FFS they are so stupid.

Dumping extra cards on to those who already have the most rather than on players who have the fewest when the objective is to run out of cards. Changing the colour of card in play to benefit an opposing player with only one card left and enable them to win the game.
Or reversing the direction play at exactly the wrong time.
Playing the plus 4 card when open to challenge and ending up picking up 4 themselves.
Making an important player skip a turn when that player might be able to intervene to keep the game alive.
Not concentrating on what cards have been played and therefore fucking the game up.
Taking ages over a turn unnecessarily or not watching the clock as it ticks down to zero which can also affect finishing positions.

FFS they really do my head in.

Absolute bunch of cunty charlatans annoyed.

Sorry I will stop ranting now.

(but they are still cunts Tongue)
