While much as been wrong on the pitch under Moyes' tenure it has to be said that the United board and SAF have to shoulder some of the blame here. I'm a big fan of Sir Alex and have total admiration for his achievements in the game. However, he should never have been allowed to name his own successor.
Losing both a successful and inspirational manager and a chief executive of a world wide business at the same time would affect any club and then add to that the loss of the entire experienced coaching squad. What would anyone seriously expect to happen when appointing someone with no major record of success. Having said that Moyes tried his best and I hope he finds some success elsewhere.
He certainly deserved to be treated more professionally by the board than to have the news of his sacking leaked to the media some 24 hours in advance.

Why keep posting 'absolutely bobbins' in different threads? What is absolute bobbins? The fact that Moyes has gone and we can now move on or the fact United have had a poor season?
