As I've said before and I don't want to be too crude about this either but the reason the likes of ITV and other channels get away with just a slap on the wrist despite consistently breaking rules is because they ain't nobody at home getting off on it as to say. Spanking the monkey, bashing the bishop, choking the chicken, whatever you want to call it Wink

The 900+ channels were set up and set up for one reason alone, as harsh as the censors are on them the babe channels have never been able to truly justify their content whether it be educational or otherwise. In this stiffer up Britain the idea of the powers that be accepting this material without even battering an eyelid is not going to happen overnight.

As they say. No thanks - no sex - we're British unlike these dirty Johnny Foreigners who should know better. Funny then why when it comes to Prague and Amsterdam that the majority of those visiting just so happen to be from the UK Rolleyes

How do i file a complaint to offcom?
I want to complain that there aren't enough tits and ass on TV.
Maybe if more people complained off this it would counteract the dickheads complaining about ( oh NO I just saw a nipple OMG the world will end!).

Scottish, I'm not sure the problem is solely the content and fact people watch for pleasure. Ofcom aren't fond of the channels because they make money by targeting a group of people.

My response to that though: people are happy to call, it's a choice, so butt out Ofcom, people are capable of deciding whether to spend their money or not.

Why cant ofcom be as diligent in the other areas it regulates as it is with the adult channels? I am sick of junk calls both on my land line and mobile numbers. I am ex-directory and registered withTPS and am still bombarded with calls about claiming for claiming for my car accident ( which I've never had ) or to reclaim PPI ( which again I've never had, always declined it ) etc. I detest cold calling on my phones, which i regard as an invasion of my time and privacy. What does of com do? Prevaricates then nothing!!

RE: Ofcom Discussion - Bandwagon - 16-02-2014 22:39

Whatever their reasons, who the hell are they to fuck up my TV viewing on a night time?
Why are they so lame as to restrict the things they have? This country is bonkers I tell you.
We have people on TV chatting shit about how the Russians shouldn't live in the dark ages towards homosexuality, like we're all hip and living in the modern society ourselves when in fact we're miles behind the times with general sexuality itself.
It's a fucking joke.

Get Lucky TV (channel 908), Lucky Star (channel 909), Party (Freeview channel 175) all get a telling off by evil Ofcom.

They're very lucky they weren't fined.

Once again, management stupidity at the babe channels is to blame. The rule about not advertising on screen any websites which have R18 content is crystal clear, yet the Babestation channels had the R18-rated babestation.com site advertised for days. Apparently nobody noticed. Rolleyes

Studio 66 got done for this as well last year.

I'm quite surprised that nobody on this forum has mentioned this yet but recently BBC3 aired a documentry about webcam girls and many of them featured you will easily recognise, Oliva who appears on RLC is featured quite a bit Rolleyes

Hopefully this documentary has spread more openness when it comes to the babe channels and those who regularly feature on it.

What this Ofcom Bulletin and in breach ruling proves without doubt is which channels that broadcast BS programs have or don't have a Dutch licence, all the channels that BS uses to broadcast BS programs all showed the same website address that leads to R18 content, on freeview only Party Ch 175 was found in breach, so that's the only channel on freeview with a Ofcom licence, freeview channels 172, 173 and 174 are all Dutch regulated, so Ofcom couldn't find them in breach of their licence conditions, this also backs up what Tiffany said a while back about having a new licence when she was speaking on Freview Ch 172, that channel used to have a Ofcom licence .
Freeview Ch 173 that broadcasts the BS Xtra program shows the same feed has the Sky channel that broadcast BS Xtra, but only the Sky Ofcom regulated channel was found in breach due to it having a Ofcom licence and the freeview channel being Dutch regulated wasn't .

As we know only Sky Channel 906 has a Dutch licence and that's why it wasn't found in breach and the other 2 were .
