Yes exactly - to prevent the danger of any further overruns. To quote Ofcom: The Licensee outlined steps it had taken since this incident “to try to ensure this issue does not recur in the future”. It stated that it had “clarified and updated” its internal guidelines. The guidance now stated that: the transition from adult to daytime chat must not be too abrupt; that presenters “are required to be non-topless after 5am". This is Ofcom's latest revised guidelines for the daytime babe channels, they were published last year on the 15th of July 2013, Ofcom say a note of these guidelines was sent to the broadcasters . Presenters clothing on daytime chat services During daytime chat, all dress and behaviour should be non-sexual in tone and apparent intent. Therefore presenters should wear clothing that adequately covers their body's, in particular their breasts, genital area and buttocks . RE: Ofcom Discussion - hatessexistofcon - 22-04-2014 00:05 Crazy Beaches still showing male genitals whilst blurring females..Sick of this sexist double standards and written to the channels for a reply and Ofcoms..Sick of these prick teasers what is so taboo about a fanny even on "one born every minute" children are going to learn they come out of a blur when they are born. So immature and offensive. RE: Ofcom Discussion - Scottishbloke - 23-04-2014 18:29 Its been a very long time since I last had a rant about ofcom but I feel the need to do so now with the alarming state of the channels declining. Game of Thrones for example goes out to broadcast on SKY1 at 9PM and it has the most depraved sex acts that one can think imaginable. It has straight, gay, bi sex and even incest in alls its glory FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I say 9PM, yes that's right just incase nobody noticed yes it does indeed go to broadcast at 9. SKY1 is a channel that can easily be accessed by a minor as most parents or guardians would most likely not bother to go to the lengths to block it or put on a pin protection. Please note that this to me is not an issue as 9PM is indeed after the watershed. So with that kind of action taking place lets take a look at the adult channels on the 900 sections at 9PM, the babes can't even get their tits out yet FFS No we have to wait until 11PM before we get to see anything that comes close to naked. And when it does arrive just what delights do we have in store. Yes watered down rats piss. Legs must be kept closed at all times. Girl on girl action isn't even allowed. Same old tired and exhausted positions. It's getting boring now. Because of work I haven't been able to stay up into the wee small hours of the morning so I instead record a few channels and watch them back the following day. Last night I recorded Studio66 and immediately disposed of the recordings. Infact very rarely do I ever bother to archive any of the shows. I may cap and record the shows and post them on this forum but please know that I'm less than happy with the shit that's on offer. Also this is not helped by the egos of some of the so-called top talent on show. The other day I posted my brutally honest opinions on some of the babes that I was less than impressed with only for one of them to come on this forum and openly attack my honesty with the usual brown nosing brigade thanking her for it. Lame shows should not be encouraged and neither should lame producers either. Game of Thrones at 9PM on SKY 1 = Full frontal sex and nudity. Babe Channels at 9PM = Still dayshows Are you happy, I know I'm not, something is seriously fucked up here RE: Ofcom Discussion - RatedR - 23-04-2014 18:46 There was never any problem with the old rules either. The girls were never permitted or expected to provide hardcore entertainment, yes a few cases in 10 years of pushing it too far for non subscription services, but they were punished and the channels became more aware to stop that. But to change the rules further is just a way to generate fines. If channels start to obey a new rule, the rule is then changed. That should be the focus of any action against ofcom, as it is clearly improper behaviour from a regulator to manipulate rules soley to target one group of license holders, just because they are making money in the adult industry. I'll add that. No, Ofcom are not sexist, they are not 'fucking twats', but they are severely overstepping their bounds of fair regulation. Which is even worse, because that is the only thing they should ever be as a regulator. RE: Ofcom Discussion - mrmann - 23-04-2014 20:39 Good point Scottishbloke! What's even funnier is that some porn stars are actually used in the scenes for Game Of Thrones, so basically Ofcom is allowing porn stars to be nude and engage in sex acts (Much of it non simulated) on TV at 9pm. Ofcom is corrupt, confused and a pain in the ass. RE: Ofcom Discussion - Digital Dave - 23-04-2014 20:44 (23-04-2014 20:39 )mrmann Wrote: Good point Scottishbloke! Any evidence for the bit in bold? No, thought not. RE: Ofcom Discussion - mrmann - 23-04-2014 20:50 (23-04-2014 20:44 )Digital Dave Wrote: Any evidence for the bit in bold? No, thought not. Um yeah Dave, there's plenty of nipple sucking that isn't faked, ass licking that isn't faked, grinding bare bottoms on people's bare chests that isn't faked, bare ass smacking/grabbing that isn't faked. Anything else, or do you think they use prosthetics for all of this? RE: Ofcom Discussion - Digital Dave - 23-04-2014 21:44 You said "much of it non simulated", implying that they were having real sex most of the time. If all you're talking about is sexual contact as listed above then of course it's not simulated, otherwise how could it occur? Why even mention simulation? RE: Ofcom Discussion - eccles - 05-05-2014 01:46 Ofcom have launched a consultation on whether they should extend coregulation of TV advertising for another 5 years. Under the proposals the ASA would handle most advertising complaints, apart from Participation TV and associated areas of gambling and message board teleshopping formats, political adverts, product placement, sponsorship credits and scheduling. The consultation period runs from 1 to 30 May. |
