Thank you for all the kind comments, still a little pain in my right eye. Got a 3 more to starting Feb and the final one in April.

Had the first one January 2nd and especially out the cold it hurt like hell so gotta use drops on my right eye four times a day, second op early Feb, then March and then April, thank god it’s only one eye lol. They numb your eye and do it while your fully awake lol.

I suppose it won't be too long before we start seeing the usual roadworks where there's no one working and we have those annoying traffic lights on set timers. Isn't it about time we had a thread somewhere where we can advise each other of roadworks or pending roadworks sections to avoid when travelling around???
The annoying thing was we had near me road works planned for a bridge 3 times - but was cancelled every time. No idea why. I think it was for road surfacing as well or bridge strengthening one of the two and if there was any roadsurcing done it wad done sat the approach to a big roundabout. I can imagine that after all the recent snow and flooding and rain there's going to plenty of that going on in the spring and just wonder how much of our council tax goes towards roadworks/pot holes and eventually nothing ever gets done.
